Youth

Our young people are a vital part of the Body of Christ! Just like our adults, they live in a world that does everything possible to distract them from the Truth. Today, more than ever, we believe the Church must be a place of refuge and strength for our young people. While we may not be able to protect and guide our young people daily, we can lead them to the one who can!

Youth ministry at Fellowship Baptist Church is rooted in God’s Word. The Gospel is the very center of our ministry efforts. We know, apart from new life in Christ, we have no hope. However, this new life brings many challenges and struggles as we strive to be obedient to our Lord in a world that wants to draw us away. Our goal in youth ministry is to provide biblical truth and support to our young people as we see them transformed by the Holy Spirit.

Our youth meet each Sunday morning for Sunday School, and each Wednesday night for a time of praise and worship and bible study. We are also involved with many of the other ministries of our church because we believe our youth are the church of today, not tomorrow. Each year we participate in a weeklong summer missions camp, DiscipleNow (DNow) Weekend, a fall youth retreat and many other activities to give our youth the opportunity to experience what it means to be a part of the Body of Christ.

College & Career

Young single adults are bombarded each day with major life decisions in a world which offers many alternatives to the life God desires for them. Without the support of their peers and the Body of Christ, they will find themselves tempted to leave the Church and God’s will for their lives. It is during this time of life we must provide them with a true picture of what it means to be a part of the Body of Christ.

Our college & career ministry gathers at our Student & Outreach Pastor, Sam Riley's home monthly for food, fellowship, and Bible study. For more information on this please reach out to Sam Riley at the email address below.

At Fellowship, our young single adults are encouraged to use the gifts God has given them to get involved in an area of leadership in our church. Many of our young single adults are involved with student ministry as part of our leadership team. This allows them the opportunity to disciple our youth as they grow themselves.
