What We Believe
Fellowship Meridian is first and foremost a Christian, evangelical church. Our primary purpose is to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and to make disciples. However, we are also a Baptist Church and that governs much of what we do. What does this mean?
We believe that the inspired Scriptures, both of the Old and New Testament, are the ultimate authority for all matters of faith and practice. This means that we should evaluate all aspects of church life in the light of Scripture. (2 Peter 1:19-20; 2 Timothy 3:16)
Our Mission & Vision
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.”
Serve Together
This implies service. It is our belief that God has not saved us to be mere pew warmers who sit around and do nothing for the cause of Christ. We believe that we are on this earth to serve God. We serve Him in our homes, in our church, in our community, and around the world.
Make Disciples
The command of Christ at his Great Commission was to “make disciples.” It is our mission to do this intentionally everywhere we go. We do this through everyday interactions through our communities, partnering with churches and church planters throughout North America, and by giving and going internationally.
Stand United
We are not lone rangers. We are in this mission together. We depend on each other within the Body of Christ. Nothing substantial that we accomplish for God’s Kingdom can be accomplished on our own.
